vakuum is a progressive, independent magazine based in Berlin featuring artistic editorials and incisive articles on fashion, music, art and culture. It’s a platform for emerging talents and a stage for pioneering artistic works, creating a space that reflects the spirit of younger generations – driven by the zeitgeist.

Its mission is to address contemporary issues with boldness and to foster critical discussion around them. vakuum is more than a magazine, it's a community – a universe of young, eccentric and curious minds eager to explore and question the world around us.

Launched as an annual print magazine, each issue functions as a stand-alone conceptual work portraying two opposing themes – designed to be read from both sides, meeting in the middle and featuring two covers. Since July 2024, it’s accompanied by vakuum online, featuring short-lead topics such as Berlin Art Week and Berlin Fashion Week, alongside further editorials and in-depth articles that follow vakuum’s vision.

In addition, vakuum collaborates with brands on a wide range of communication initiatives – focusing on written and visual advertorials, while also developing custom creative concepts and projects.
