Morteza Fereidouni was born in Shiraz, where he graduated in architecture at the Shiraz University. Since adolescence, alongside architecture he has been seriously pursuing cinema. Due to his interest in film direction and further education, he moved to Tehran and still lives there. Fereidouni was involved in several short film projects as a writer and director consultant. After completing his directing courses under Shahram Mokri, he made his first short film called "Hawaii " in September 2020. The film was nominated in different festivals : ISFA ( Iranian Short Film Academy Award ), Macau International Film Festival (Macau), One Shot Terrassa City Of Film (Barcelona .Spain ) and was the winner at 27th IFVA Awards (Hong Kong) and 11th One Take Film Festival (Croatia). He made two short films in April 2023: "Snowy Hot Weather" and "I Think You Arrived" . He was one of the main judges of the 2022 One take film festival in Zagreb.
