Kim has composed scores for major US network TV shows, including Castle, Missing, The Whispers, The Unit, and Lie to Me. He has also collaborated with iconic brands such as Babelsberg Studios, Square Enix, and LOLA (the German Oscars).
As a solo artist, Kim has released two albums and several singles. His intimate neoclassical album BEING and Skylight: Notes from a Logbook are inspired by his passion for flying as a former wingsuit skydiver.
