I'm a Berlin-based writer and director originally from Wales, with a practical, story-first approach to filmmaking. My background combines strong visual direction with clear, structured writing. I focus on making work that’s emotionally direct, logistically achievable, and engaging for real audiences. This is an approach I maintain in both commercial and non commercial work, always working within my means for the best outcome.
Alongside my writing and directing work, I bring over eight years of hands-on production experience, both on narrative film sets and in large-scale event production. I hold a BA in Film Production and have worked freelance across the UK and Europe as a script supervisor, first assistant director, and creative producer. This mix of roles has shaped my approach, I understand how to keep a shoot running smoothly, manage pressure on set, and adapt quickly when plans change.
My short film Goodbye to God has been screened in festivals across four countries, and reflects my commitment to telling intimate, meaningful stories with a strong visual identity. I’m just as comfortable breaking down a script for scheduling as I am working with actors or refining a shot list.
I’m now looking to build connections within the Berlin film community, whether that’s through co-productions, creative collaboration, or offering production support to other directors and teams.
