Born in Elazığ in 1996, Çağlar Atav was raised in İzmir and is a Turkish filmmaker. After graduating from Yaşar University with a degree in Radio, Cinema and Television, he completed his studies by making the documentary Gone with the Windmill, which was selected for the Adana Golden Boll Film Festival. Following his work as a cinematographer and editor on this project, he pursued an MA in Directing at MetFilm School in Berlin. His most recent short film, After Myself, has been submitted to festivals while he develops his next project.
